Community guidelines

The Week Club only works if the group feels safe, respectful, and consistent. These guidelines protect the experience so everyone can relax and let connection build naturally.

Kindness Consistency Respect Safety
The basics

The goal is not to impress. It is to create a calm, friendly space where people can be themselves.

  • Be kind, respectful, and considerate.
  • Assume good intent. If something lands awkwardly, clarify gently.
  • Include people. Small groups work when everyone feels welcome.
  • Let connection build gradually. No pressure, no performance.
Commitment and attendance

Consistency is the product. The best groups are the ones where people can rely on each other.

  • If you join a group, assume you will attend weekly for the full six weeks.
  • If you cannot make a week, communicate early and thoughtfully.
  • Be honest about your schedule. It is better to join a later cycle than break the group rhythm.
  • If attendance becomes unreliable, we may pause or rework participation to protect the group.
Consistency is the product. It is the difference between meeting people and actually becoming friends.
Boundaries

These rules keep it comfortable and genuinely friendship-focused.

  • No dating behaviour in the group context, including unsolicited messaging.
  • No networking pitches, recruitment, selling, or self-promotion.
  • No harassment, discrimination, or aggressive behaviour. This results in removal.
  • Respect privacy. Do not share personal information or stories outside the group without permission.
How we enforce this

Guidelines only matter if they are enforced. We act quickly to protect the group experience.

1) We investigate If you report an issue, we review what happened and speak to the people involved where appropriate.
2) We intervene We set expectations, reset boundaries, and take practical steps to keep the group comfortable.
3) We remove if needed Harassment, discrimination, or repeated boundary violations result in removal to protect the group.
Important: If something feels unsafe or uncomfortable, tell us early. We would rather step in quickly than let it undermine your experience.
If something feels off

You do not have to manage it alone. If anything makes you uncomfortable, contact us.

  • Email us as soon as possible so we can help.
  • Include your group, area, and what happened if you can.
