How does The Week Club work?
Small groups. Same people. Weekly for six weeks. You’re matched into a small group (typically 4–8 people) and you meet once a week for six weeks.
Meetups are intentionally simple (walks, cafés, pub quizzes, board games) because the goal isn’t the activity — it’s familiarity.
How does matching work?
We match on location, availability, and intent. After you submit your details, we use your location, weekly availability, and what you’re looking for to place you into a compatible group.
Matching is designed to maximise the chance you can actually show up weekly — that’s what makes the whole model work.
What do we actually do at meetups?
Simple plans so the focus stays on connection.Think low-pressure, easy-to-join plans: a walk, a café catch-up, a pub quiz, or board games.
The goal is not “the best activity in London” — it’s repeating time together so trust forms naturally.
Who is The Week Club for?
People who want real friendships (and can show up weekly). This is for you if you want genuine friendships, you’re open to things building gradually, and you can commit to weekly meetups for the full six weeks.
Is this dating or networking?
No — it’s friendship-focused by design.No. The Week Club is not for dating or networking.
It’s built for people who want to form real friendships through consistency, not one-off socialising.
What if I’m introverted or feel nervous?
That’s common — and the structure helps.Totally normal. The whole point of meeting the same people each week is that it gets easier quickly.
You’re not expected to “perform” — just show up and let familiarity do the work.
Where are the groups based?
London — matched to be practical for you.Groups are London-based. We use your location to match you with people nearby and suggest meetups that are easy to get to.
What if I can’t make one week?
Consistency matters — but life happens. We ask for weekly commitment because it protects the group experience.
If you miss one week occasionally, that’s understandable — but if your schedule is likely to be unpredictable, it’s better to join a future cycle when you can fully commit.
Are food, drinks, and transport included?
No — the fee isn’t for the activity.No. Food, drinks, transport, and venue entry (if any) are not included.
Your fee covers matching, structure, and the commitment mechanism that makes the group reliable.
What does it cost — and what am I paying for?
You’re paying for matching + structure + commitment. You’re not paying for an “event”. You’re paying for:
- Thoughtful matching into a small group
- Six weeks of consistency with the same people
- Structure and facilitation so friendships can form
- A shared commitment from everyone involved
The fee exists to protect the group experience, not to extract value.
What’s your refund policy?
Full refund if we can’t place you into a suitable group/time.If we’re unable to place you into a suitable group and weekly time, you’ll receive a full refund.
We prefer “wait and join later” over forcing a poor match that harms the group.
How do you keep groups high-quality?
Fit + commitment + clear expectations. We protect the experience by matching thoughtfully, requiring weekly commitment, and being honest about fit.
We’re intentionally starting small so the first groups work — quality first, always.
